We serve Lycoming County and a two hour area around Lycoming County. We are willing to travel further for larger events. We've gone as far as Ocean City Maryland. We pride ourselves with being a one stop shop and having more to offer than anyone in the area.
Planning an event is a very daunting task. There are so many choices to make, details to cover, and time lines to follow. That is where Farrington Place comes in.
Our Senior Event Specialists will begin by understanding your overall goal and vision for your event. We listen intently to understand your event details and logistics. We then work together with you to determine event logistics such as guest flow, table layout, installation and removal time lines, etc.
In addition to event logistics, Farrington Place will also help with the overall look and feel of your event. Each customer is welcome to make an appointment to come to our downtown banquet and event venue. Our Event Specialists will sit down with you and help you pick-out your tables, linens, china, flatware, and glassware. We will set-up a sample table with the party rentals that you have picked out to give you an idea of what your table setting will look like on the day of your event. Our Event Specialist will be available to help you try different styles and patterns to help you in selecting the right items for your event.
Each Event Specialist has many contacts and resources that they work with in the event industry as well. We are able to give recommendations for other vendors such as photographers, florist, dressmakers etc. in the area.

Banquet & Event Venue
We have an indoor venue located at 416 West 3rd St in Downtown Williamsport. We host hundreds of events per year and can accommodate up to five hundred people. We have four Chef's whom are all certified and trained from some of the most prestigious culinary arts schools in the country. Our Chef's range from 10 years experience to 20 years experience. They are graduates of Penn State University Main Campus, Johnson & Whales in Rhode Island and Mansfield University. Our Chef's are cultured and have lived and cooked all over the world: Japan, South Carolina, Delaware and Pennsylvania. We cater at our location or at a location of your choice. All foods are prepared and cooked fresh and on site.
Wedding & Event Rentals
Our rental division offers more options than anyone in the area. Remember, we are not just a rental company. We are an event production company. We go much further than just renting an item to you. We can light up your entire event, change the color of the inside of our tents, gossamer or sheer voile the entire ceiling or even set up wash-bar lighting, dance lights, and up lights throughout the entire tent. We have everything from casino tables to arches and chairs to tables. We have more than 48 different linen colors and can special order hundreds of styles and colors. The tent rentals available to you will greatly depend on the kind of event you plan to hold and the way you choose to accommodate your guests. Allow us to help you select the right one and come up with a design that will surely impress everyone who attends.
One of the first things to decide upon when you choose a tent rental is how you plan to accommodate your guests. The choice between served dining, buffet dining, cocktails, and theater-style seating will definitely affect the amount of space you need to cover. It will also vary if you plan to add other amenities to the venue, such as a dance floor, a stage for entertainment, or a space for a grand display.
For example, if you plan to have served dining for your guests, then your tent should be able to accommodate the tables of your choice and leave room for servers to move around. Alternatively, for an event with buffet dining, you might need to give your guests more room to freely return to the buffet area for seconds.
But if your event only needs an open bar and cocktail tables, you may not need such a great amount of space. Smaller venues usually work better for cocktails as it encourages guests to stay close together.
Taller structure tents are ideal for events that require a high tent ceiling, which gives generous space for ceiling liners, tent lighting, and a variety of décor. High ceilings also give the entire venue a sense of grandeur, which is perfect if you truly want to make a great impression.
